Transparent weapons models, Is it still possible?

Hey everyone. Time ago I saw a video showing off gameplay with weapons that were transparent. I know that it was possible to do some time ago, but I have jeard that it was patched by Valve. Never had confirmation of this and though you may know a bit more about it. Does anyone have any idea about it? Thank you in advance. :)

it was a plugin that disabled -insecure safeguards and basically bypassed vac. valve didn't like that and they fixed it. do not install any versions of the plugin or try to run any newer versions, it is very likely you will be vac banned.

This has been asked many times.
The answer: no, not without sv_cheats on.
You especially wouldn't be able to use these on tournament servers because of the sv_pure.

the above is all true, however, there's also nothing wrong with using a transparent weapons skin, if the server is running sv_pure 2 then they simply won't work. the only skins i know of are the rocket launcher and the sticky launcher.

hanbrolothe above is all true, however, there's also nothing wrong with using a transparent weapons skin, if the server is running sv_pure 2 then they simply won't work. the only skins i know of are the rocket launcher and the sticky launcher.
