Demos Crashing When Going to A Specific Tick?

If the tick you're going to is decently far away from where you are currently in the demo, it'll crash. That's just how tf2 demos work.

In my experience, typing mat_queue_mode 0 in console before going to the tick helps crashing a lot.

Disable multicore rendering in the advanced video options and it will let you skip.

For me queued single thread (mat_queue_mode 1 in your config) solves this issue completely.
You should not use it on your playing config tho as it decreases your fps a lot as far as I know.
