So recently I've been playing scout more and I've really improved at the class. Before, I was a complete demo main who couldn't hitscan for shit, but after dedicating some time into the fast running man class I definitely believe I improved. However, when I tried to get back into demo recently, I felt that everything was off for me. The stickies and pipes I would normally hit were whiffing all the time and I would constantly be out of position. I can attribute part of my failure to being in the mindset of an aggressive scout, which doesn't work as effectively with demoman. I would overextend because I would be in that mindset of chasing frags and taking dm fights. Also, I've found that the better my hitscan aim got on scout, the worse my projectiles would get on demoman. I'm also worried that if I spend too much time on demo again, my scouting will degenerate.

So basically is there a way to find a fine balance between hitscan and projectile classes (scout and demo in this case) and improve both of them instead of favoring one or the other? I play a lot of soldier as well, but that's also another class that is different from both scout and demoman. I'd like to be proficient in most sixes classes (even medic :D ) rather than being exceedingly good in one and exceedingly bad in another. Has anyone else experienced this problem as well?

tl;dr I used to play demo but I scout a lot more now. Because of that my demo now sucks, so I want to find a fine balance between classes in terms of aim, mindset, and overall play.
