I have recently been working on a new hud called BootyHud. It was originally a modification of RaysHud. I would like to give a lot of thanks to Rays for making such an awesome hud. I started modifications on it as a project to learn more about huds, but I have just kept changeing and adding to it. As of this new update which added the Taunt Menu I have not been able to figure out why my taunt menu has not been showing up when I taunt. I added the taunt menu scripts to my hudlayout.res, but i'm not sure what else to try. You can find the download for my lates version of Bootyhud here.

You just contradicted yourself in these 2 sentences. I understand you are trying to enter the world of hud creating, and that is totally fine, but saying that you are "working on a new hud" and the fact that you just tweaked some stuffs from rayshud is dumb.
But anyways, the problem is that you forgot to copy the hudmenutauntselection.res of rayshud into your "bootyhud". Just do that and it should be fine!

Lol, Thanks for the easy fix, and btw the reason its called booty hud(the reason it has a name at all) is cuz my friend saw me working on it and wanted to try it out and said I needed something to name it so he could recognize the folder, Bootyhud just popped up in conversation and thats what we have been referring to it as, however it is not a completely original hud and I do not take full credit for it. I just re-copied the hudmenutauntselection.res file, and there is now the top half of the letter T i'm guessing for Taunt in the top left corner of the screen. Image bellow

Try to use the installer : rename your bootyhud folder "rayshud" and download the rayshud installer. It updates the hud, even when you putted some custom stuffs in it.

You're missing the taunt menu code inside hudlayout.res. Go grab it from the latest version of rays.

Is it possible that there could be another layer of the hud over the menu with an alpha channel that is forcing it into the top left position??
