How do I enable the shiny effect like on the sentry gun and the models?

Is there a certain variable? orr do I have to revert the tf2 settings back to default? is there a setting?

I think it's putting -autoconfig into your launch options resets it.

i bet your fps config is changing it back when you restart the game.
