FIRST OF ALL SORRY IF THIS DOES NOT BELONG TO GENERAL DISCUSSION!!!!
Hello there everyone!
As the title says I am a new guy to tf that wants to try out its competitive side since I highly dislike the mess that public servers are just like in every game.
In this account I only have 2 hours because it is my second account. My primary got hacked....In my primary I had 50 hours.
Now obviously some of you might say go google etc etc but thats the problem. After googling and surfing in general I found old posts like 2010,2012 and groups, websites etc that are innactive etc.
So yea I came here asuming that for being named teamfortresstv it is some kind of a MAIN tf2 website
and hoping that you can help me get into the competitive side.
I know that a microphone is a basic requirement and I have one ready and I also can speak "understandable" english haha
Thanks in advance guys

If you want to learn the general gist of competitive tf2 I recommend having a lookk on our get started page on comp.tf which is a wiki that focus on competitive tf2.
It also has a lot of other resources linked, like povs, guides, demos, etc, etc...

I second this, make sure to familiarize yourself with the different comp gamemodes, 9v9, 6v6, 4v4, 2v2, 1v1 and see which appeal to you.
When you feel like you're ready to try out either one of those modes, I suggest you try out tf2center.com to play organized matches on a low level.

thanks a lot for the responses.i will check those out
Also, don't get discouraged by people that say you're shit and you don't know how to play the game. There will always be people like that but if you enjoy the game, you keep at it. Along the way you'll also find people who are really willing to help you. Yes, tf2center is a good place to start once you've figured out the basic rules and how it works.
To figure out how everything works, you might also wanna check this out http://comp.tf/wiki/6v6 and this http://comp.tf/wiki/Highlander.
Highlander and 6v6 are the 2 main formats for competitive tf2 and when joining a tf2center, you will recognise which of these it is by the maximum number of people allowed in. Good luck!
EDIT: if you have any specific questions, feel free to add me or anyone who posts in this thread. We want to make you feel welcome here and we'll help out with anything we can!

(Seriously after that it's kind of a downer)
