do they teach business majors in college that making more colors is the most effective marketing strategy
I have the old (I guess) deathadder at 6.4k DPI and to get 8"/360 in most games I need to lower the ingame sens to pretty much the lowest possible, so I really don't see how 10k DPI is useful at all...
I want to get this so I can play tf2 at 10k DPI XD...what's with mouse companies always wanting to up the maximum DPI on there mouses :/
i guess razer is heading down the path of "add a bunch of useless aesthetic shit that no one wants" to get more sales

They've been down that path since the beginning.

I was thinking that maybe if this DA uses a different sensor then the smoothing issue people have found on the DA 2013 will be fixed, but it's Razer so it's probably worse.
safrixdpi: 10,000
in game sens: 0.002
To bad source engine can only got to .01
If only monitors were made that actually needed that kind of dpi rofl.
Sensors
DA 2013 Avago s3988
DA Chroma Speculation suggests that it using the same sensor with a new rom and will likely perform poorly above 6400 DPI

The Abyssus 2014 has apparently this horrible jitter problem, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Maybe they'll release a left handed edition of this one since the 2013 Deathadder never got one.
"10,000 dpi"
Now I will be able to do 10k damage per inch!!

i always had a dream of being able to have a 1 millimeter 360

Abyssus is fine, only some have the issue.

This game can only last so long... There are already "perfect" (or close enough for 99.9% of players) sensors out there and those sensors are only going to get cheaper (which means good sensors even in cheap gaming mice). What I really care about now is driver software that actually does something new.
***(HINT: incorporate povohat's adjustable and configurable accel driver for starters)***

I actually wish companies would focus on making the mice lighter, stronger and be able to track at 5+ m/s.
