You're new to the game. You will improve significantly by just playing and working on your aim. Also there's a lot of helpful guides and resources out there.

He is right. Have a look at this http://teamfortress.tv/thread/18435/collection-of-resources-tips-for-6v6 and comp.tf . You should have no problem improving your game with the resources that are available to you, unless you expect to get spoonfed ofc.

Edit: Probably already mentioned in the first thread I linked but this helped me out the most when I was starting out: http://teamfortress.tv/thread/10754/marxists-mentoring-vidyas

He isn't trying to be rude. Mentors are for people who have the basic understanding of the game down and good DM, but just want someone who knows the game well to point out things they might not notice. You are better off if you just keep scrimming and reviewing your demos to see what you do and what you could have done better.

Yeah. I'm a steel scout myself, and I can tell you that everybody above me is 100% correct. Right now, you're better off worrying about DM and aim. I did add you though so we can MGE and dm and stuff, since mgeing somebody at around your level generally helps you improve better than mgeing somebody way below or way above.

mason (m) is right about learning by doing at your stage

if you're talking about highlander you can add me to ask about map strategy and stuff. like what's best on cp_steel since it's like irrelevant to regular tf2 strategy

6s probably has better info on YouTube or something than I can give you.
