The bug just randomly occurs causing the mouse cursor to stay where your tf2 cross hair is. It is really annoying and currently the only way I know how to get rid of it is to restart tf2, which is annoying. Anyone know a better way to perma fix? All help is appreciated
This only happened to me once, and it happened after I had alt+tabbed out to check on something, the next time I alt+tabbed it didn't happen again. Do you get it every time? because it only happened once to me.
Not every time, but very often and alt-tabbing hasn't worked. And i have only started getting it recently... never happened before
you can hit your chat key and move the courser to a corner of the screen, that's what I do whenever it happens
This just started happening to me too.
I usually just restart my game

Got this for the first time today. Had to restart.
Gotten this a few times not sure why, restarting my game fixes it.
Raptor it didnt work :( the only luck ive had so far is restarting :(
I get this every once in awhile, it's really distracting.
this happened to me in quake and basically forced me to stop playing for 3 months until it got fixed
wow same... i guess we have to wait for valve to fix it
i dunno what the pc equivalent is, but command tabbing into another program and back fixed it sometimes, and going in and out of chat fixed it sometimes
it is pretty obnoxious though

do u ppl still have your dx level settings in your launch options?
found and fixed.
basically SPUF has this too (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?p=33465685), and I posted there too. Goped(stole) solution from Dark Souls from google here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2900481
We focus on the section about hiding and NOT locking cursor.
Need to download: Nomousy + Autohotkey.
Instructions are in their threads. :)
You're welcome. It's a workaround at the mo, when (IF) valve fixes it we can remove the progs.
So basically, CTRL + J removes cursor, and again to show cursor :)
edit: change Dark Soul in the script to Team Fortress 2
OR use cl_software_cursor 1 in console <<not tested
:)
