Tf2 crashes when tabbing out

If you go into Steam-> Library -> Team Fortress 2, right click and go to "properties", click "Set Launch Options" it brings up a box to enter text into, enter the following "-w XXXX -h YYYY -windowed -noborder" (repace X and Y with your monitor resolution Note:this only works with your monitors native resolution) then hit OK. The game should act like any borderless windowed game
