oxinaiI run the boundaygamers mge servers. If you all want something different or hate them or w/e, let me know.
They're in chicago, because yes.
last time i have been on the server you had the server restart every hour or so is there a reason why you do that?

24/7 servers start to get twitchy after a while, and it only gets worse with MGE. iirc its a 90 or 120 minute restart cycle right now, I can probably get away with making it a few hours.

wonderlandtopnotch mge is back as of last month, 68.68.32.209:27015 (you're west right?)
TN MGE has a whitelist and class restrictions. This alone is reason to use it. It's just got populating problems because it's not in the tftv list nor does anyone know it's back up if they're only going to servers on their favorites list. Lack of advertising/awareness, but it's a solid MGE server right now.

The firepowered server in Phoenix plays fine for a while but then it stutters really badly and last time I played the server just warped itself to oblivion and everyone dc'd. I have no idea why it's populated all the time.
I should get like 40-50 ping to the VA one, but I usually get about 120. Even when I ping decently to it, it seems really stuttery and slow - almost like rockets animate late.

Slightly off-topic, but has anyone else noticed that DM servers seem to be going sorta downhill, too? I don't get to check that much because my schedule is kinda packed, but recently it seems like it's harder for me to find good DM as opposed to before. Either the servers I used to frequent seem pretty unpopulated, or it seems like a wave of pub players are finding them and bringing in goofy pub loadouts and playstyles. I don't wanna be one of those elitist "6s is the best at everything and everything outside the meta is completely beneath me" players but it can get a little frustrating when I see so many demoknights/baby face blasters/players trying to melee only/etc.
...Maybe I'm just logging on at weird times.

It is. MGE v7 is way better than v8 too - I don't know why people run v8.

V8 has more maps that don't get played too often (Turris, Gravelpit C, etc.) I also noticed some bugs on V8 such as clipping on Spire and spawning out of the map in Snakewater. Here's a changelog if you'd like to find out more specifics: https://github.com/Lange/MGEMod/blob/master/changelog.txt
