As a left handed gamer, I have a really hard time finding a mouse. I am currently using a Razer Abyssus and am looking for a better mouse with at least two side buttons. Suggestions?
Zowie AM. Its an ambidextrous mouse.
And I think theres a left-handed version of the deathadder as well

I'm looking to step away from Razer; could you make a good argument for the deathadder? Also, what are people's thoughts on SteelSeries mice?
I use a steelseries sensei. Its a really nice mouse and its ambidextrous.

Yeah I use the sensei as well. It's great (if you use hard pads). Plus, I'm right handed and I actually use all 4 side buttons so it's nice to have.

I'm left handed, however I've used right handed mice and my right hand for the mouse my whole life. I think if I switched now it'd feel kinda weird.

If you don't want the Deathadder, the only other option that is worth your money is the Zowie AM.

im slightly autistic so i use a G500 even though im a leftie
Sensei vs Zowie AM? I've never even heard of Zowie.
Zowie mice are great and they get my vote. No programs or drivers; everything is done on the mouse. I used a Deathadder for 4+ years and switched to the Zowie ec 2 eVo, best thing I ever did. :)
I think I'm going to go with the Zowie AM. Thanks for the help and quick responses

Stay away from SteelSeries...their mice have bad sensors.
You made a good choice with the Zowie AM.

I mouse with my left hand. I've used a variety of mice, but the ones I've liked the best (in no particular order) are:
Zowie AM or Zowie AM-GS
Razer DeathAdder LH
Razer Boomslang CE 2007
I'm sure there are other ambidextrous mice that are fine as well. DeathAdder is probably better if you have large hands, but the Zowie isn't uncomfortable. I like the LH DA and the Zowie AM equally for use, but the Zowie AM seems to be built even more poorly than the Razer product (what??????) unfortunately.
I replaced my Zowie just a few days ago as one of the side buttons was beginning to fail. Not acceptable for a mouse of that cost, but their support is pretty good. I used a lefty DA for 2+ years without a failure, but maybe I was lucky.

It wasn't luck smaka, it's actually a really well built mouse. A lot of razer gear is cheaply built and overpriced, but some of their stuff is quite good. I've had the lefty deathadder since it came out (2009 I think) and it has never given me any problems.

I am the same way. I have flipped view models for now, but I have thought a lot about switching mouse hands. I just don't know whether it would be a good move, or what the advantages would be.

I'm actually right handed, but my dad taught me to use my mouse with my left hand while I was growing up because he felt it was a more efficient method for using the computer (having your dominant hand able to type and non-dominant use the less-important mouse). Inconvenient for games, but there's no way I could switch now.
