How did you feel about your season? What were the good and bad points?
i think i had a pretty nice season. got to play some matches before my team died
What specific expectations did you have, and which ones got fulfilled? Which ones didn't?
i wanted to get better and i think i did but i wanted my team to not die
How do you feel about the logistics of playing scrims and matches?
i don't think theres anything wrong with it
What do you think about the distribution of skill in ESEA?
i think that its pretty bad and that some of the teams shouldnt have been in open
i think "superteams" are cool in concept but in reality are retarded and just make the game not fun to watch or play
Will you be playing in S19? If not, what is stopping you from playing again?
i plan on it but i don't really care that much to stress about it
How do you feel about how ESEA compares to other leagues?
cevo was really terrible and esea works and always has
Are there any specific resources you feel like would help you as a player?
invite players have probably done as much as they can. im sure if u took the 2 seconds to look up howto's for certain classes u would find them. i guess a thread that has all of said resources in one place wouldnt hurt
Would you recommend people to play ESEA? If so, under what conditions?
if this game is something u are committed to yea play the game
if this game is just something you play for fun yea play the game
if you are bored of the game then don't play it or find something about it to make it fun
its only 15 or 20 to get out of the awful league that is ugc
What's your next goal?
find a team that'll not die and probably make playoffs/win open

How did you feel about your season? What were the good and bad points?
I really enjoyed it. We didn't go 0-16 like I expected and actually took some wins off of decent teams.
What specific expectations did you have, and which ones got fulfilled? Which ones didn't?
I expected to never win a match, and I'm happy that didn't happen. I also expected to stay alive, and we didn't. Oh, well.
How do you feel about the logistics of playing scrims and matches?
It's really hard to schedule scrims when people flake out on you constantly.
What do you think about the distribution of skill in ESEA?
It seemed like the upper third of IM was miles and miles ahead of everyone else, who were about even with high open teams.
Will you be playing in S19? If not, what is stopping you from playing again?
Of course! :3
How do you feel about how ESEA compares to other leagues?
Better competition, more dedication, shit servers/client, less responsive admins.
Are there any specific resources you feel like would help you as a player?
More invite players demo reviewing invite players, please!
Would you recommend people to play ESEA? If so, under what conditions?
If you have the drive to improve, the determination to stick together through the horrible first half of the season, then of course you should play ESEA! Playing at a high level is the only way to get better.
What's your next goal?
Make it to IM again and beat Stochastic's team :3

Are there any specific resources you feel like would help you as a player?
pugging resources and maybe VODs depending on the class you play would be very helpful, all of which ive found everywhere in tf.tv
Would you recommend people to play ESEA? If so, under what conditions?

Me and my team never finished out the season, so I don't feel fully qualified to answer all the questions but...
I 100% feel that I improved so much in the short amount of time that my team actually played, that I feel like UGC was a waste of time. I feel that new players should just lobby until they feel comfortable enough and jump straight into ESEA. Sure, they probably won't do so great, but the learning experience you will take from it is the equivalent to a solid 3 seasons of UGC in my opinion.
Even though I won't be playing, I regret nothing, I had fun with my team and my time in Open, and I will miss it as it was an awesome experience.
The End.

How did you feel about your season? What were the good and bad points?
Blanc Esports had a good season IMO. Our goal was to make playoffs and qualify for IM next season. Hopefully we get moved up. Good point was watching our team develop from pre-season to mid-season where we changed for the better as we moved along. Bad point for me was playoffs. Not because we lost but because of roster and internet problems at the worst possible time. Those factors combined made it hard for us to practice and prepare for our matches.
What specific expectations did you have, and which ones got fulfilled? Which ones didn't?
Expectations were Playoffs and IM. Playoffs were fulfilled but we wait to see about IM
How do you feel about the logistics of playing scrims and matches?
Mostly a non-issue for me. I have tons of free time and an awesome wife that lets me do whatever I want. I can make mostly any scrim/match.
What do you think about the distribution of skill in ESEA?
I have no issue with the "skill" of ESEA divisions. My issue is more with the competitive TF2 community in general regarding roster changes mid-season and cutting players when playoff time nears. I am an old school TF player and the most taboo thing a team or player could do in the past was "clan hop" around. Players who did this were treated as outcasts and rarely were able to get into the good established teams. However, in TF2 this is a widely accepted way of life in every division. Perhaps I am out of the current loop but I value player / team loyalty greatly and sadly TF2 has very little to offer in that category.
Will you be playing in S19? If not, what is stopping you from playing again?
100% playing, don't care if it's Open again but I will be playing.
How do you feel about how ESEA compares to other leagues?
UGC is a joke, CEVO is Dead.
Being the only league, it would be wonderful if ESEA put on some TF2 events to spark more interest in our game but I know there is literally no chance of that happening.
Are there any specific resources you feel like would help you as a player?
I started this game 5+ years behind everyone else so I am still playing catch-up. That said, I watch a LOT of video on this game posted from other players, especially euro players. That resource has helped me greatly but I have yet to seek a demo review from an invite level player for any tips and critique of my play. Perhaps I should try and change that.
Would you recommend people to play ESEA? If so, under what conditions?
Simply put, ESEA is the only place to play competitive TF2 in a 6v6 format. If you value competition and want to improve, ESEA is your only option. I would have no choice but to recommend it.
What's your next goal?
As always, continue to improve myself and my team. I work full-time and don't have a ton of free time during the day to devote to playing the game. When I am playing TF2, I am usually always working on improving some part of my game. My ultra competitive personality is hard to hold back and I always feel like I need to get better.
