So I've been using a skin for my grenade launcher for a while now, basically it replaces the default and the LnL with a grenade launcher model from quake, and it puts the model in the lower center of the screen, exactly like the Original(Oh, it also removes the hand animations so the grenades float in the slots when you reload). On pure servers this skin doesn't show up obviously, but the default model still shows up in the lower center of the screen, without the hand animations.
My point is that this is pretty awesome. I'd like to apply this to my scattergun (the only weapon with which I usually don't use viewmodels because I'm casual like that). Just wondering if any of you know how to change the position of the viewmodels like that.
Thanks in advance. Also, I'll post pics of what the launcher position and reload animations look like when I get home.

Alright so I'm not sure what ndust meant, but here's the link to the skin.

Anyone have any idea on how to apply this kind of thing to my scatterscoot?

I'm pretty sure that it's a custom animation in the .mdl file, why it's not blocked by sv_pure is alien to me. It definitely is, though.
A new .mdl file has to be compiled for any weapon you want to have centered, by someone who knows how to make custom animations like that.

So when you see weapons in weird places (Like a shotgun being held at a 90 degree angle from the soldier's hand), that's just the demo that messed up, or is it someone that customized the viewmodel to just not be in the way? I mean, why would that even be blocked by sv_pure?

He obviously said that this happens ingame when playing, and that the skin he was using was blocked by pure. Maybe try not being stupid before replying to a question like this.

You do realize that he's the OP, right?

AFAIK that's some sort of weird glitch in the demo. That is not how the player sees the viewmodel.

Best option, make a reskin, like the original, and put it into Steam Workshop.
Show it to everyone here, let them vote it up. Pray that valve puts it in. Win.
