because he kept trying to make the game better to the point of perfectionism, basically they were overbudget already and he kept wanting to make changes, and he said he would do the same with the silent hill games. he took inspiration from GTA V being such a costly game to make but having a huge reward

Silent Hills is going under major develpoment changes (welcome to developer hell) Norman Reedus has had his "contact period expired" so hes probably no longer going to be the lead character, we will probably still get silent hills, but it wont be the P.T. Silent hills
