you guys are stupid mixtapes have nothing to do with any record label. the artist decides when they want to release their mixtape. music off of mixtapes belong completely to the artist and not a record label. with albums, the record label controls release date, production, etc. not to mention artists usually put more effort into albums
people still consider mixtapes albums bro it's 2015, an artist's mixtapes are getting consumed just like an artist's albums

I can't believe that english is your native language.
Album generally means a collection of something. You have photo albums and you have music albums. Why do you think that mixtape could not be the later? Because it's self-produced? That's your argument? :D

Just a few more that I like
Macintosh Plus- Floral shop: really cool, fun sounds for 45 minutes straight. Also the cover art for the album is fucking hilarious to me and I can't look at it without laughing.
STRFKR- Miracle Mile: I enjoy listening to starfucker a lot, but I couldn't find myself listening to a full album of their music (with exception to starfucker, their first album) until this one came along. It's got fun sounds and fun lyrics
STRFKR- Starfucker: one of my favorite albums ever, it has a cool alternative sound and it probably does some stuff you've never heard before. (Best to listen to when stoned/pretty happy)
