This has been happening to me for some time, for some reason game capture is not working with my tf2, everytime I enable it I just get a black screen on OBS and my tf2 "freezes" as in, I can still hear sound and do stuff ingame but the game screen is frozen from the time I enabled game capture.

I use borderless windowed, dont really want to change that. Im gonna try those settings on game capture (altough Im not sure if those are specific to window capture only? )

used to get the same issue, apprently it was razer shit for me such as synapse etc causing it to crash.

Synapse can do this. End the process.
