Hello. So recently my headphones broke and I'm looking for a replace. I thought that I'd better go for headset rather than headphones, since my mic is really close to die as well.
I've heard really good stuff about HyperX Cloud II headset, as far as I can tell WARHURYEAH is using in on i55 at the moment. I'd like to hear cons and pros of players who are using it. I'm also a big fan of music, so that's a big thing to note.
Mic sound is a big factor as well, I have mechanical keyboard and I don't want my teammates to go nuts because of the clicky sound.

I am using it and personally i like it alot.The soundcard thingie which comes with it is so nice,since you can clip it at your shirt and control your mic volume and sound volume.
About the background noise like your keyboard,it should not be a problem at all.You won't be able to hear it ,or very barely.The noise reduction on cloud 2 is pretty good.
The mic is also one of the better headset mics.
So in my opinion its worth buying this headset

imo, it's worlds better than most of any other gaming headset for the cost, but I wouldn't take it over audiophile headphones and a clip-on mic.

Keep in mind that surround sound isn't a necessity for gaming. With the right sound settings you should be fine using stereo. Even if you still want surround, you can just use Razer Surround. You shouldn't be able to tell the difference between Razer Surround and Real Surround on headphones, unless you're an audiophile with really good ears.
