Just a simple question. How does one remove the killstreak counter? It is so annoying and it always makes me nervous getting outta spawn with a high killstreak, especially as a class that isn't a powerhouse. It's just something I find annoying and while some say I can just ignore it or not worry about it, it's still annoying and causes me to not do anything all around at some point.

Isn't that just for the notification and not the HUD element?
I think he's looking to remove the actual counter on his HUD.
If getting a killstreak makes you nervous restore your killstreak weapons. Why have you got killstreaks if that is how you react to it?
Your HUD related answer is inside the huditemeffectmeter_killstreak.res file.
Or.....you could always give me some of those distracting killstreaks ;) I don't mind helping you out with that.
