its ok ive already taken into consideration for when h5 dies to like 5 sticky traps and switches back to scout
even if that doesn't happen botmode can be a pretty good scout
this teams success hinges more on h5s ability to adapt to pocket anyway rather than how good botmode and sen can be

i mean highfive is the best player on the team it's not really news that him playing his role properly is a key to their success
but on your original point i'd say scizor is better than sen and muffinz is better than botmode so i still take that combo on top
if iwere in charge of that team i'd def want h5 on scout though i guess he doesn't wanna play it? that's the only reason i can think of.
it's gotta be weird to be botmode who has kinda made a reputation on being able to play every class decently and then getting a guy like h5 who can do the same thing except better on EVERY class

owlIf pie hero would just play with some halfway decent teammates he'd be a lot better off.
Better off how by shooting up in these player rankings? I feel i would still be the same player. I love playing with my team they are all great people and while they may not all be the best now they are improving a lot.

XanThat is the incredibly hard part. Some people are better in scrims than matches, some people will troll in a scrim or if it is late at night just won't try as hard. Scrims are hard to make the power rankings out of. Even matches make it difficult with the amount of issues with ESEA servers in terms of ping, some people getting a lot of loss, teams playing without a starter because of some other random shenanigan. It's why I wanted to wait a week before the next batch so I can get a good view of about 4 matches
In addition, the schedule for the first 4 matches are astonishingly varied. #1 and #2 are playing this week (clear match of the week btw). Most teams play 1 High IM team, 1 Low IM team, and 1 mid IM team. It will give me a better sense of the current hierarchy.
Also what Air said.
In terms of judging certain players from this. Stats by themselves aren't enough. If a pocket gets a ton of heals you got to look at a few things: are the ubers mosty solos, is the pocket doing all the uber building, is the flank getting picked a lot, does the demoman get aggressive a lot or do they sit back. It's not easy. Numbers never lie, but they don't tell the whole story.
^ can agree, my first esea match got defaulted to 4-3 and the stats completely disappeared, my 2nd GRANARY match hasnt even been played yet, why? because tf2 soccer is more important
