crashing when competitive etc configs exec

my tf2 crashes 4-5 seconds after a config execs. this includes highlander, bball, 6v6. to clarify, this is 4-5 seconds after I get placed in spawn (right after the countdown). I've verified files, tried different dxlevels, replaced cfg folder, done just about everything one can think of. steam cloud is disabled. help pls

There was one time when prec was updated, then the new version broke and either people had to remove prec or go back to 2.0.5( i think that was the version)

win7 64 but it's actually unverified from a hardware switch, could that have anything to do with it?

I don't see why it would, but if you've tried a clean install with no custom content, it's gotta be something with your computer and the OS is usually the place to start looking
