Most teams scrim sun-thurs so I wouldn't be surprised at IRC being completely empty tonight.
Although regardless of the day of the week a lot of teams use their friends list to find scrims so adding a few team leaders wouldn't hurt.

add team leaders, if you're in open you can go to a team page on ESEA, click the leaders esea profile, hit history, grab their current steamID and paste it into steamID finder.com. add them and say you're adding for scrims, before scrim time message some of them and ask if they'd like to scrim at X time
still will never get why teams just don't idle on irc
unless ur high im there's no reason to be scheduling scrims

wasn't a problem 1-2 years ago
if all the teams just have at least one dude idling in irc youll have a less chance of getting shitters or just some bullet pug team

its actually really hard to scrim sandbaggers/bullet and u can just leave the server if u accidentally get them in irc i dont see why irc died
On related yet unrelated note, how do CS:GO teams typically find scrims???
Do they use IRC or do they add team leaders?

Wouldn't a site with a simple chatbox/pms/steam login be super effective? No downloading and setting up an irc client would be helpful. Bout a month ago I tried playing a pug scrim with some friends and it took almost an hour to find a team to play. No one was in the irc channel and scrim.me wasn't effective at finding an instant scrim (unless we missed something).
