Currently I achieve 150 fps at best (normally 60-90) with a graphics CFG and no hats on TF2 and I'd like to improve that. I have an imedia s2870 by Packard Bell and it is fairly small.

(It's not mine but it's exactly the same except for that graphics card inside but mine is the same size.)

On the PC currently I have a;

  • Intel Pentium G2020 @2.90GHz (CPU)
  • 2050 Intel HD Graphics (Acer Incorporated [ALI]) (GFX)
  • I'm unsure if this is the actual motherboard but I'm pretty sure it is H61H2-AD by Acer

I have a budget of £200 (possibly more) and I only really want to improve the CPU and GPU so I can achieve up to 121 (or 110) consistent fps (then maybe 170-200 best) on default graphics settings.

Sorry if I'm a lil' inexperienced because I'm fairly to the whole pc building/upgrade scene but hopefully it isn't that much of a pain.

"a graphics GFX" my sides
graphics GFX ~ processor CPU, i think you meant graphics cfg (=config).

Anyway, you're using the iGPU inside the CPU and I don't think you can really add a discrete graphics card, so CPU upgrade only it is.
The best CPU for TF2 that fits inside your mainboard, which is also the best you can still afford, would be the i5-3570.

Oh yes. Sorry it was misspell I meant CFG.

Damn... I might have to settle with either buying the i5-3570 or just getting a whole new PC entirely. Thanks for the help thoe.

After a bit of googling apparently it uses a pretty standard mobo and has a PCIE x16 slot.

So you can indeed put a graphics card in it HOWEVER it will take some effort. That case clearly wasn't designed to take a full sized card and the PSU is underpowered as well.

I will add you on steam and we can discuss different options and budgets.
