I wouldn't be surprised if something like this happens in Germany aswell soon. If this is the Islamists (which everyone is saying it is) then putin bombing the fuck outta them in syria isn't gonna help. These extremists have been able to spread themselves out across Europe already and these people seem to have no intention of stopping this. Hope everyone in Paris is safe but I think this event is going to end up causing widespread fear and panic all over the EU. It feels as if these people have won and something needs to change so this doesn't happen again.

My aunt and cousin are there in Paris on vacation right now. I've gotten confirmation from the rest of their family that they're okay and weren't close to the scene but I'm still so worried about them. Hopefully this doesn't affect their ability to get back home.
