Budget? Games you'll be streaming? Do you want to OC?
Be more specific.

good news, a tf2-gaming pc and a streaming pc match up to be pretty similar. tf2 is a CPU hog, and (at least, in comparison to its CPU usage) it doesn't requires all that bulky of a graphics card, so as a general rule you want a CPU that can handle both obs and tf2 at the same time and a good mid-range graphics card

If this is a upgrade, you should post your current PC so we can suggest which parts to upgrade. If this budget is to build a new PC for the streaming only and you already have a gaming PC, maybe think about building a second PC for the purpose of streaming video from your current PC.

Hey Katie, I wanted to add you for other reasons. Your profile states that you want people to comment why they're adding you, but I can't do that.

I really need mod rights to move these things into the PC Build Thread.

Good CPU I understand, good HDD not so much.
Also wired >>>> wireless.
Katie*Needs to do multiple tasks, and good broadband connection
Multiple tasks as in Stream + Game at the same time or something else as well?
A pc won't improve your internet connection. Either you already got good broadband or you don't, whether you've got a toaster or a 5000$ pc won't change that.
As #5 already mentioned, overclocking yes or no?
Is this an upgrade or a new build from scratch? See #9.
