LF Scout/Soldier to round out our team, the HL Scrubs:
Scout: Willmatic
Scout: Benn/DayNife
Roamer: Benn/DayNife
Pocket: R3vy
Demo: Yipyapper
Med: Gamma Oreos
Expect shitty play, offclassing, and lots of fun. I'd ask for HL experience but at this point, I'm running short on available players.
WE GOT OUR POCKET, THANKS

Lucrative has brought up an important point. While I get that for some of you, there are exams going on, for the rest of you who said they wanted another LAN, it's a pretty disappointing turnout. I'm more than likely going to email the venue and tell them there's no way I'm going to get 24 in less than two weeks. They've been quite busy, and so have I. More importantly, I don't have money to throw away on computers that nobody is going to use.
Unless things make a big turn around, I'm not sure how I feel about doing another event. Seriously pay up, and ask yourself how much a local LAN means to you.
Also, I have been looking at other local LANs to see if I can get TF2 played, and the chances of that happening are very dependent on the success of these smaller events.

I was speaking to yipyapper and his worry is being late because he has a 2pm exam. Would there be a way to work around this if he does end up going? Maybe have someone ring for him until he's there

It might just be too short of an interval between LANs. I mean, the last one was about 3 months ago. It might be better to have it semiannually, or even annually, from this point on. That way, more time for planning for everyone, and better scheduling so it's not ON exam time.
That said, REGISTER U POOPHEADS! And someone give my bros Yipyapper and Benn a ride! And Yipyapper a place to stay at night.

I don't think the issue is having another one too soon, I think it was just the fact it happened to be during exams, a week later would of been just as bad due to Christmas.

That's probably right. Ideally next last after this should be early March maybe. Or after April.

I was debating whether to approach EGLX on getting a TF2 side tournament happening, or volunteering. But that mainly depends on how organized they are.

Is that the one in Waterloo? or Guelph or something? I'll roll in and talk to them as well if so.
