Mic problems.

Alrighty then, so I've been wanting to get into comp TF2 for ages but many problems have gotten in my way, a big one is that my laptop's headphone/headset port is broken, so I would only be able to use an external mic plugged into a USB port to be able to not have the worst sound quality ever, and I won't be able to have a headset. Any ideas, everyone?

You can get USB headsets that put sound and mic over USB that aren't too bad

afaik logitech do a few decent usb headsets so you wouldn't need the mini-jack ports at all, just have a look on amazon for "usb headsets". They won't be mega high quality but they should do just fine.

If you just wanted a usb desktop mic then the blue snowball is pretty much the go to now a days I think, but using it with speakers would be pretty horrible for anyone else in mumble lol
