That last part is supposed to say performance btw
Hi guys
Lately I've noticed that my performance on my gaming PC has been decently lackluster, and it's gotten to the point where I can't stream due to it being incredibly taxing on my system, despite some of the stuff I have.
My CPU is an amd a10 processor, able to run at 4.1 ghz, with my gpu being the integrated graphics that are in my motherboard. But my monitors are one different resolutions, with one being a square one (I don't even know the model name of it) and my other primary one being a 1080p monitor.
So a few questions
1) does having 2 drastically different computer monitor resolutions have a big impact on performance? And if so would it be better for me to just play with 1 until I get a better one
2) any good GPU recommendations that deliver good performance and won't break the bank?
Thanks guys!!

Old bench mark I did
basically the actual resolution doesn't matter, the aspect ratio does due to it's impact on your FOV
so 4:3 = Higher FPS ; Lower FOV
16:10 = Middle Ground
16:9 = Lower FPS ; Higher FOV

Streaming at higher rez will drastically affect FPS. Just playing at higher rez without streaming has little effect if you are not GPU limited.
If you can wait until after the holidays look for a used AMD HD 7970/7950 on ebay if your PSU is up to the task. You can get them used for less than a 750ti and they perform the same as a r9 280x/280. Ebay prices are currently inflated due to the holidays.

So I have a square monitor as my secondary monitor. Could that be the cause of my lowered fps? The only reason I'm using it is because I don't have another one on hand or the money to get another monitor. I'll try downscaling my resolution when I'm on it next time. And are you using your own config? And if so which one?

Honestly when I used 2 monitors and trying to play TF2 I usually disable the 2nd monitor as I always seemed to have weird fps drops because of it.
Just pick which monitor you want to use you have a 16:9 and a 4:3.
4:3 you'll have more fps but have narrower view
you could use a 4:3 res on the 16:9 monitor as well instead of using the square monitor.
Also I use a slightly different version for my tastes, but it's most similar to this one https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/92187841/gfx.cfg

So how would I disable the other monitor? Just unplug it or turn it off?
Also love your fps config :) thanks for making it!!

what model of the a10? mine runs super hot ( between 70-90C) so I need to get a new fan and underclock it.

I'll let you know when I'm back home. I'm currently at college and on a crappy laptop
