Hey there, so literally a few hours ago I heard a wierd breathing noise, and on further inspection I found it to be my PC, I currently have no idea whats causing it, and am currently trying to look for answers, but Im posting this up so maybe I can get some ideas onto what it might be, also it sounds like this part of Vader.
My setup is-
i5-4690k w/ stock fan
GTX 970
M97 anniversary
Corsair 600wM
Dunno if its relevant but my case also came with two fans built in

Sounds like a fan spinning and failing. Have you opened it up and did a visual inspection to see if its all running properly?
If not that than it could be your HDD being overly taxed.

Im about to do that now, will get back to you
EDIT: On further inspection it seems like it was a fan, how would I go about fixing this?

Well, shut it down completely and disconnect and reconnect the power cables going from the fan to the MB. Make sure there aren't any obstructions causing the fan to get stuck (Use an air can if you got one to clean it) and if all that fails you'll probably need to replace it. If its the one on top of your processor I would advise you not to use your PC until you get it replaced or you risk frying your processor.

Could also be part of the fan blade grinding, see if the fan is replacable
