The only classes that people run full time in 6s are Scout, Soldier, Demo, or Medic. In a coordinated environment, when teams communicate, Spy becomes almost completely useless when run full time, because good players will be paranoid and turn around and call your position.
You can play Spy in 6s when you need a Medic kill and you don't think they think you're on Spy, but otherwise you'll have to play something else.
If you want to play Spy full time, play Highlander.

i remember when i first started comp tf2 in ugc steel we played against a full time spy on viaduct, man was that a pain in the ass cuz his revolver aim was godlike
and that player was evan who was a plat spy for awhile who would just used revolver only for the most part lol
