wonderAll I know is that Valve is going to make MM with all weapons available and without class limit and I don't like it.
wonderI hope valve will change this, we'll see.
wonderI'm just saying that whole mm will be a big joke with that no class limits and these all weapons available
wonderI already can see all these people from steel/open with elite assassin ranks
wonderanyway I hope final version of MM will turn out to be better than I think
Just in case someone didn't get wonder's opinion on MM...

I hope that there is going to be some serious weapon rebalancing in the MM patch to bring out some legit alternative side options to stock / current meta (example ubersaw, basher, equalizer) without making it feel too gimmicky.
While stuff like tide turner, huntsman, mini sentries etc wouldnt be viable in competitive against good/decent and probably not even low teams, would allowing them in MM bring something to the table or just encourage people to use gimmicks or whatever you want to call it. Depends on what the tf2 dev team / valve wants; is matchmaking going to be a way for people to play 6v6 in whatever play style they want - maining huntsman/demoknight/pyro or are they going to encourage people to run the current 6v6 cookie
Curious to see what will happen, definitely looking forward to playing/testing banned unlocks in matchmaking.

I mean, if you're not expecting MM to be the most AIDS thing you've ever played in Tf2 then you might be in denial

unlike counter strike you can just go do your thing and frag people not caring about the objective.
it's like pub but there are only 6 players on the enemy team + no random crits.
exactly like tf2center just without class limiations.
so maybe it's aids for some, but I like it.

In CSGO MM, people can troll the way they want, like buying pistols only, dropping the C4 in a dangerous place, whole team buying sniper rifles etc. But, at least in decent rankings, people rarely do those things because they don't want to lose their ranks.
It will be the same in TF2, in the lower ranks there will be a lot of laughable shit going on, like it happens in Silver matches in CSGO, because there will be a lot of people who have 0 experience with competitive playing, but at decent ranks people will play to win so those kind of things will become rare, even rarer than in TF2 Center because there you have nothing to lose.

that's awesome, I've seen quite a few nutty South American players and I would love for their scene to grow

No idea is this the right thread, but before MM comes out, Valve HAS to improve the in-game voice quality (so it is like in CS:GO)

iirc they reduced the latency relatively recently, everyone still just uses mumble/discord/teamspeak because we're used to it and its already implemented into 3rd party mm websites.
