using the mumble overlay, the text is bold, white, and blocky.

remove mat_antialias from your config (doesn't matter what value it is)
mat_dxlevel will also do this, not sure if any others do

Remove any resolutions settings from your launch options. using the ones in game and setting them will fix this. Once you remove it from your launch options, launch your game. If it doesnt fix it, then just change the res one more time in game and it should work
