When I damage someone as any class, it plays the hitsound then this really annoying sound that doesn't seem to stop until i close tf2. any help is appreciated.

Try reinstalling your hitnoise, I had this bug before.

Make sure this is set at -1 or 0.
If not you may want to mess around with your pitch settings to see if that fixes it.

TheMetaTry reinstalling your hitnoise, I had this bug before.
I don't have a custom hitnoise, I just use whatever is default within the game

Tried both and didn't seem to change anything. Been messing around with the pitch settings but no success :(

I used to have this, it means you tf_dingaling_pitchmaxdmg is too low

i've been changing it and it doesn't seem to matter if its set to 1 or 255
