Hello ive played TF2 for a while now since before it was f2p and ive heard of competitive play but never looked too far into it and I would like to be a part of it now. I feel like im a pretty decent medic and soldier and would like to join a team. If someone would like me to be a part of their team or help me out with the whole process it would be greatly appreciated.
You're going to be better off searching on the UGC League Forums for a team. Good luck with getting into competitive!
you'll learn and improve a lot more in open play open not ugc
Newbie mixes will actually be doing a team drive to form teams of new open players for next season, keep an eye out http://steamcommunity.com/groups/na6v6newbiemix
Hi I've been looking into competetive for a while now and I thought this might be the right place. I have almost 1000 hours and I have alost of experiance in Soilder and Demoman. I can also play Scout and Sniper. But I do not have "Mumble" that everyone has. But if you can I would like to be a part of your team! :)

If you're interested in getting into comp tf2 mumble is pretty much required for everything. That being said it's free and doesn't really slow down your computer at all.

Like he said, wait for the open season to finish and Newbie Mixes will start an open drive. Information on the program is in a stickied thread on the front page.
Newbie Mixes also hosts mentoring "pugs" on fridays starting from 9:30, You'll need mumble and a microphone to participate though but its worth checking it out if you're new to competitive.
The front page of Newbie Mixes has a bunch of links to guides to help you get into competitve, some are class specific, and some are general information for the gamemode. Marxists videos are probably some of the best out there imo.
This is a site for people to queue up in a lobby type system for competitive tf2. Click on a lobby in your region and click on your class, You'll need mumble for this too (Notice a trend with mumble?).
