Hi i'm on Optus and nearly every night for the past 2 weeks past around 7pm i will start spiking to 40 loss and 100 ping every few seconds, its worse on certain servers, projectiles look like their going through a cheese grater and movement is mostly warped, animations fuck up etc. I've phoned them up multiple times and they've said nothings wrong, tried all the usual stuff like turning the router off an on, making sure no ones downloading etc. i don't know what to do at this point, would appreciate any help thanks!

Go to your router page and post stats (attenuation, etc).

You'll have some good luck if you post on whirlpool

Damn my router is 11 years old, might be time to upgrade lol

Yea it's most likely your router, worth investing in a new one anyhow, considering how old your current one is.

Optus is awful, they prioritise Netflix traffic over everything else. I have a new modem and still get the same crap in the evening just because of that. Leave if you can, I can't :(

Yep, I get this too. Just had to stop playing about ten minutes ago. With Telstra though. In my case it also results in the spawning of invisible players. Annoying af and running ethernet didn't fix it.
