I use dxtory. OBS Makes my computer feel like shit when I play. It'll feel like 30fps but show 200+ on the netgraph. It's not worth it. Just use FFSplit and Dxtory and be done with it until you can fix OBS.

That's likely a problem isolated to you/a few others. My entire team streams with OBS, and most of the top streamers do as well. So many people wouldn't use it if it was a common problem. I doubt d0m3r will have that problem if he gets the crashing fixed.
d0m3r, have you tried to reinstall OBS? Are you running Windows 8?
Is your stream live/preview when you open your game, and is TF2 even added to a scene in OBS yet? If yes to these, try a different dxlevel.
I looked around, and some people had problems with other games crashing due to nvwgf2um.dll, and I think they were all related to Nvidia drivers. If you're using an Nvidia card, make sure you have the newest drivers, and if you already do, try older drivers.

On the OBS site there is someone with a similar issue because of something to do with Asus.

If that doesn't work just make a post on that site. He's pretty quick(ish) to respond.
