black rectangle on top left corner of TF2

so theres this really annoying black rectangle on the top left corner of my TF2
i dont have any idea how it appeared i tried several huds, but its still there.
can anyone help me? thanks

I've got it as well. Not sure what caused it, but it appeared in the recent update.

From what I recall when updating my hud, its from hudmatchstatus.res not being fully updated, is your hud up to date?

it happens when the hud is outdated, way to fix it would be to add whatever is missing in whatever file its required
