There will be no team fundraisers run officially through teamfortresstv, though some teams have begun plans to fundraise independently for travel. These normally begin around June.

Well if all the continents are sending a team or multiple teams in NA's case like what was talked about early this year then their will likely be quite a few fundraisers

There are currently plans for three fundraisers afaik. There is no fundraiser for the prizepool planned, and the prizepool is managed by Multiplay rather than by us.

Anyway, to the rest of teamfortress.tv, how was the prize pool much higher in the last couple of years, with teams such as froyotech winning 96% of what the total prize pool is this year? Have there been fundraisers or was the prize pool just bigger last year thanks to Insomnia?

Sorry im not really caught up to all this, starting to get into the competitive scene :p

Multiplay has always previously sponsored the BYOC TF2 tournament for £5k. At i55, due to an increase in support and a desire to make things bigger and better, backpack.tf and Bobsplosion sponsored the tournament for an additional £2.5k each.
