Can't play TF2 at all ;_;. This happened yesterday when I was playing around with launch options and graphics configs. When I join a team and pick a class, the game just freezes. If I try to exit (shift tab, win-tab, task manager, alt + f4 etc), the game doesnt respond, or just black screens.
Stuff I have done to try to fix this:
- Remove the stuff in custom folder
- Set launch options (-dxlevel 95 -h 1080 -w 1920 -console)
- Reinstalled the game (albeit everything was the same because it was backed up by cloud)
- Verified integrity of game cache
The interesting thing is that I can still go into spec and watch TF2, but not actually play it 0_o
Any help is really appreciated

Basically, I think that it was something to do with my config. I'm not saying that comanglia's configs (max stability) were directly to blame, but they were the reason that I began freezing. Since I put the config into my autoexec and each of my class configs had "exec autoexec" at the top, this explained the reason as to why I could spectate, but not play (ie the autoexec with the command that caused TF2 to freeze was not executed). Therefore, I'd recommend you look at your graphics configs and check if there are any graphics commands that do not work too well
