Hey guys,
I'm looking to join a 6s team and I'm looking to learn about the 6v6 format. I've played 1000+ hours in pubs and probably over 300 in soldier. I haven't played much TF2 in the competitive format and haven't played much in a 6v6 format.
But, I am a huge fan of the competitive scene. I found myself getting more interested in players as well as watching podcasts / streams and I love the idea of the strategy and practice that goes behind real competitive play. I have some knowledge in 6v6, maps, rollouts, and strategies / roles but I'm looking to learn more.
I'd love to join an experienced team as a sub and learn the ropes (but I'd still like to play haha) or join a new team who have the same opinion / enthusiasm for 6v6. I think it's important for me to also point out I always try to play for fun in the end. That doesn't mean I won't try but I will try to be positive and even if we lose, I'll try to take it in a good light and I'll try to learn and get better.
I'm located on the West coast and I'm available to scrim most evenings. I'm also 23 years old and I am looking for more mature players.
So lets play!

If you want to "learn the ropes" I recommend playing Newbie Mixes.

I have the groups added but they haven't had any events recently. I'm looking forward to if they are doing any this year but so far I don't think I've seen the events.

Do a couple of mixed then do a bunch of low level pugs before you look for a team just so the team doesn't have to teach you the absolute basics. You would also have better luck on the UGC forums as far as a team search goes
