for the hud, could the round timer be edited back in? it's pretty important for demo rollouts

Yeah, the Score Overlay needs to be modded to accommodate it. Plus we'll need to see it anyway come GPit week.

Couldn't they just move the y-position of the timer? I don't know if its that easy, seems like it would work though.

Surprisingly, it is an incredible pain to move this thing around without screwing up other elements on the HUD.

LangeThink about it this way. There's already a lot of visual clutter in a TF2 cast. Does removing the timer, and thereby minimizing clutter, benefit us more than knowing exactly how fast the demoman has rolled out? IMO it does. The timer is not necessary (except for gpit obviously).

It's not necessarily that there's a ton of information to be displayed in a cast, it's just that there's no way to get stuff on or off the screen once the game is live there is no way to adjust graphics for stats, UNLESS someone is assisting the Cameraman by editing the graphics and letting him know what is ready to be displayed. - hinthint ;) -

Fortunately, that shouldn't really be an issue with the timer. It's on my TODO list to move it down, but I've been to busy to work on the HUD recently.

the timer is super easy to move around. check some of the viaduct vods and you'll see how it was moved near the cp. but as for normal 5cp play, it's completely unnecessary except for very specific, rare situations.
