Couldn't finish in title but I want to know if there was a way to change where your PREC demos are automatically saved to. I want them to be saved to a folder instead of randomly in "tf" folder.
Is there anyway to change where your PREC saves?

Shameless self bump, but I think I found the way for anyone else having this problem.
Go into the PREC.VDF file and change the file name from tf and I think that would work. Not exactly sure because I haven't tested it but it should.

Not in prec.cfg, in prec.vdf there is a files but it doesn't link to where my demos are saved.

create an autoexec.cfg in a text editor
put this line in it:
prec_dir "demos"
people already explained it to you in this thread, but you seem to think you need to alter prec itself when it's just a command line input
