Anybody know why this server seems to have disappeared these last couple of days? Now the France server is always full.
Everybody moved from tf2pickup to pugchamp, maybe they don't have money to keep them up since not enough ppl are donating? Idk tho

Dunno if there is a problem with the whitelist tho.

Heyo again! Everything should be working again. Sorry for the downtime of the germany server but had to fix some stuff on it before actually putting the new spawns/maps.
I've updated the maps using the latest versions and added reckoner. Also granary will stay for now, don't really see a reason to be removed. Removed sunshine though. All spawns are default now + have the process/reckoner fixed because they were team-sided. Will see next week what i can do about the whitelist. 2 sticky limit is good. Idiot demos like described in the linked thread can only be dealt with by having someone there to kick them, or disabling sticks.
The real problem is that granary is very often the first option on the next map vote and most people just mash F1 as soon as it comes up. I'm pretty sure most people dislike gran in dm, yet it wins the vote almost every time it's in the first spot.
Having to call a new vote every time this happens is kinda stupid. Is it possible to alter the order of the maps and maybe put badlands/viaduct/process first ? Or just remove gran, pretty sure everyone will be happier.

I honestly do not believe some people need to practice their bison m2 spamming or critacola runs or any of this, I myself havent played dm in a while but I know lots of people (looking at schalalaa here) who live on dm servers and who enjoy the vanilla dm and play it for actual practice, unlike those cretins who jack off to their !rank or sticky trap the chokepoints and else, with current unlocks its just much much easier to fool around and turn every round into a joke than practice ur aim and whatnot, make the better experience for the dm nerds, not for the dumb fucks

Having one server run a close-to-vanilla whitelist, and the other one the current one might be a reasonable compromise.
can you please change the resup spawn on badlands? i hate having to walk/jump so much just to get to mid.

I only play demoman and its frustrating to see both servers having a demo on both teams and being forced to beg for the spot and usually people are too much concentrated in aiming to see the chat.
AFK timer could be a minute longer

With mirrored spawns the fight always gravitates closer to the weaker teams spawn. Usually resulting in the weaker team having to fight through chokes and the stronger team chasing people into their spawn area.
Random spawns force people to look around and commit to fights more since someone could have spawned somewhere other than in front of you. They create a more fluent fight around mid instead of these 'holds' that kept popping up with the mirrored spawns.

yea let me just run around half of the map while my team still gets owned in choke just to get fragged by one of their spawns as I come up behind them. This is exactly what random spawns are trying to prevent, people having to run around to get to fights.

Hello everybody! First of all, i want to apologize about the delay but i was busy with irl stuff… So back to the DM servers. Last weekend when i reviewed the poll results, they were really close – 51%/49%. So i decided to split the servers -> #1 will be with team sided spawns (fixed spawns) and #2 will be with random spawns. I’ve also fixed the reckoner spawns, so they should be working fine. Snakewater_u13 will be replaced with _final1 since Valve updated it. Updated the SM/MM to the latest versions available (MM:S v1.10.6V, SMod v1.8.0.5945) and fixed/changed the ads plugin. (added some new info for the pickup and so on..)
So i guess that’s everything. Make sure you check the servers and if there are any problems/bugs with the changes let me know.
