Also, just noticed they're using single elimination bracket for the playoffs. Not sure how I feel about that. I really prefer double elimination bracket for big events like this.

The reason why its single elimination rather then the normal double elimination is due to the limited time valve got for renting the theatre. With the major being close to Christmas its understandable for it being single elimination rather then double elimination.
