Yo, I am looking to buy a new computer over the holidays, and I would prefer it to be a laptop. Does anyone have any good suggestions? I was looking at this one, but I am not too good with these kinds of things. I have a max 900 usd budget, and I am looking for a solid laptop that can run tf2 and overwatch on relatively nice settings, and relatively lightweight.

I'm pretty sure he's aware of the fact that he can build a decent desktop, there's no need to tell him since he said he preferred a laptop.
That laptop you linked was the same one I looked up and recommended for my girlfriend to buy since she needed a laptop with the same budget and wanted to game without it being too bulky.
However, if you want something with a little bit less spec wise but want a really nice screen.
