Quick explanation on how the game works:
roles vs roles, for example the classic [most popular and normal gamemode]:
At day, majority can vote if to hang someone.
8~9 townies: goal of townies is to get everyone which will harm the town [Mafia, SK] dead. (some townies can kill)
3 Mafia - Orginazed crime, goal to get everyone whos opposing them (Usually townies & SK) dead. (can kill)
Serial killer (SK) - Goal to get litearlly everyone dead (can kill)
Jester - Goal to get hanged [not die at night] (cant kill)
Exe - Goal to get his target lynched at every cost. (cant kill)
Obviously every townie has his own role.

back in the wild west days you had Adolf Hitler along with 3+ variations of that along with a "Jew" "Nigger" and usually some president tossed into the mix.
The game would consist of everyone slinging profanities at each other and everyone would randomly lynch whoever got voted first. There was no such thing as voting innocent.

Then they banned Adolf Hitler along with other popular names. Casual is still lots of fuckery so I recommend that. Competitive is pointlessly unbalanced.

haven't played this game in forever but it's really fun to fuck around in with friends
It's a bit of a clown show right now with Vote for Roles broken badly, along with the slop games you sometimes get in Ranked where one faction collapses by the second or third day so it's a boring affair looking for the Neutral Killing.
The only truly fun ranked games are the surprise vampire ones where a vamp is found Day four-ish and everybody goes into panic mode.
