Maybe you have no AMD driver.

deffo sounds like a driver or gpu issue. clean your drivers with DDU then reinstall them, maybe try reinstall an old version if you think that could be the issue too.

I've had the drivers installed and working fine but just today I have had this happen.

I uninstalled my drivers and I'm just reinstalling. I'll try with DDU if this fails, thank you.

I have installed the driver and when I go to install it again through setup.exe, it says it's already installed. However, I can see no sign of it and I don't know how to access the settings for it. BEfore I had a useful program that did it.

I've installed it again but I don't even know how to access it all. My AMD icon is gone from the hidden icons section of the desktop, and it's not in my start menu. Fuck

DDU does not depend on you finding the AMD icon. Uninstall properly with DDU, then try again.

Also Windows 10 likes to randomly "update" your drivers with a freshly microsoft approved version which is a year old and doesn't support the GPU you're using. I'm not kidding.

In the past, every time I changed my driver my screen ended up being too zoomed in so I can't see the edges of the screen.
It's like that now.

Err I used to have an AMD program where I could open it and fix the resolution so the screen size fit my TV. Now I have nothing where I can go in and tweak things. I don't know how I even tell if the driver is working.

No, but the input problem seemed to stop when I switched HDMI ports.

When I search 'AMD', all that comes up is the AMD folder.

When I go on TF2, my graphics are shit and there is no sound.

How did you install the driver?

Also since you "found another random HDMI port" I'm guessing that one is up high on the motherboard from the integrated GPU and only one is actually from the discrete GPU down on the bottom. Which one are you using right now and which one were you using before?

Could I get a picture? Because usually the AMD GPU would be the lower one and you used an AMD program for settings before, but since it just now started asking for that driver I'd rather make sure it's not one of those weird "Hey let's flip everything upside down" PCs.

GPU-Z might also be useful to figure out which GPU you're using anyway, if you don't know. CPU would be interesting to know too. CPU-Z, when in doubt.

HDMI is plugged in to just left of the USB near the top. Used to be in the slot in the middle at the bottom.

No idea then, the program should be installed as well. Maybe search for Crimson, no idea what it's listed as in windows programs.

I just checked Device Manager and I can't even see my graphics card. I should be able to, right?

HDMI is currently in my motherboard whereas before I used to have it in my graphics card (i believe), but today it stopped working and went black screen.

And it does indeed need to be in the lower one, otherwise you're not using your GPU.

Sorry I had a brainfart.

I opened my pc and pushed all the cables in and i think that's what fucked everything. My pc now seems to recognise that my graphics card is connected and it's installing the software. It seems to be doing it properly this time.

On a sidenote, I don't suppose you know why my crosshairswitcher crosshairs are always really small and even on 'huge', seems tiny?
