this pretty much explains the whole situation.
honestly I think online leagues should be all together abolished and for there just to be a big tournament circuit. no one cares about online games.
it's still pretty fucked up that PEA is trying to monopolize the NA online pro league scene, honestly it's just a bunch of LoL team owners trying to have an lcs style league for cs.

woaahhh. this is getting a little nuts. I'm confused why the players didn't go to their org's owners to begin with, though.

Sgares just got cut for the letter. This is going to have massive implications for esports in general. Can't imagine a player's union being stopped now.
I hope they do unionize. a player's union has been spoken of before - most recently, regarding the Valve ruling on timeouts (ostracizing coaches from the game, essentially). it didn't seem like anything fully came to fruition, though. curious to see if any official word from Valve will make its way into the discussion.

It looks like regi was willing to leave PEA if his players asked him to, I'm not sure if he didn't tell them that or what, but idk if this sean thing is good for either party.

seangares shouldn't play the victim here, it sounds like regi was open to changing his mind about the pea thing and the players basically making a statement like that without consulting him first is kinda unprofessional
