The graininess probably has something to do with how the clips were encoded, try recording individual clips to a lossless format, and then encode the final product to something more compressed, for easier uploading. Handbrake is a really handy and straightforward video transcoder.

You need to remove the hud before you record the demos.

it would have been nice to see the health/ammo and have a song in the background but other than that its good for a first frag movie imo

also whats wrong with the video at 2:36-2:46?

All clips should be recorded in the same format, its weird if you add some clips without hud and normal viewmodels, then others with the minimal viewmodels, then some of them with the hud, decide how are you going to set up that and stick with it for the rest of the video, also some of the clips appear way too dark I dont know if that was intentional or a sony vegas bug, add some music too

All clips were recorded with lewana and rendered in virtualdub and stiched together with Windows movie Maker, some are from stv's some are pov's, the dumpy ones were recorded like 3 months ago when I first started recording
As for the HUD do you mean like hp and ammo or kill feed?

Aw man I wouldnt recomend windows movie maker tbh it just kills the fps and quality of the video, you should try using sony vegas where you can set your render settings to maximum quality and 60 fps, about the hud it should always have the killfeed, but decide if all of the clips wont have the hp and ammo or not, in this video you had the kill notices only hud in most of the clips except 2 or 3 that were using some custom hud. Also this might be just personal preference but including crosshairs may look nicer (not custom xhairs, just the default one)

From what I see Sony vagas is like $300 and I don't have that kind of cash, also whenever I post a vid here it gets tons of dislikes but no feed back so if you guys don't like it tell me what to change <3

however you can probably still export from movie maker uncompressed (i think?) and compress it with handbrake. use these settings (or as close as you can get)

I wouldnt spend that much of cash either lol, just download it patched from somewhere, I always get it from the same youtube tutorial and it never failed me (would link it here but its in spanish)

Oh please you can get much higher quality clips from movie maker. Its encoding occasionally adds some artifacting but it is absurd to blame that on the quality of the video (https://youtu.be/i6pFAlceWoU <- i did this with fraps and movie maker)

I wouldn't recommend creating a brand new thread for a frag movie unless there has been some significant effort (smoothing, editing, etc.) that has been put in. It's hard to justify the extra attention an entire thread brings w/o doing so. The lack of music plus some underwhelming frags just isn't too interesting.
