I didnt change anything but recently my mouse sensitivity has been really slow while occasionally returning to normal. My monitor is fine, my fps is over 150, its just a slower mouse sens.
Possible fixes/solutions?

do you have mousepad? it will really help.
or your mouse is quite old. you need to change it then.

neither of these is the issue, my mouse is relatively new and works fine outside of tf2 (I dont play other PC games) and I have used the same mousepad for months with no issue.

Clean your mousepad and mouse if they're dirty

Decapotatoworks fine outside of tf2
m_rawinput 0
this command causes issues to some PCs
You might need to raise your sens after disabling it

If you have an Nvidia GPU it might be going to power saving mode for some reason and thus lowering the core clock. I've noticed some inconsistent mouse movement when it does it but I'm not sure if it's the primary cause.

Do you have some bind in your cfg that changes mouse sens maybe?

If you're using a razer mouse then uninstall razer synapse
If you're using a razer mouse then uninstall razer synapse
VulcanIf you're using a razer mouse then uninstall razer synapse
I have a razer mouse and it bugs the side buttons and sometimes the dpi reverts to 1000 in the program but outside of that it is fine. If I remove synapse will it screw up my binds and stuff?

I had this problem with older mice.
Try cleaning all the dust from the mouse feet and if that doesn't work then it means that your sensor is probably dying.
Also, it might be that you pressed a DPI button you didn't know about located somewhere on the mouse.

yes you won't have your macros, but theres a glitch with razer synapse which changes your in game dpi for some reason

you can either keep Synapse and have dank meme binds with macros, or you can ditch Synapse and not have your sens changing on a whim

FireWho needs macros for binds
I mean, I assume his mouse doesnt register all of the extra buttons properly without Synapse, I know that's an issue for Logitech, so in order for them to show up as Mouse4/5/6/whatever in TF2 for scripting, you need Synapse installed
I didn't mean to imply using macros for sending chat messages directly

Why would you need to change your sens on the fly...I can understand using a higher dpi in desktop if you have a multi monitor setup but changing it mid game doesn't seem like the best thing to do imo

It's obvious his mouse4 and mouse5 are not bound properly in default settings so he needs synapse to bind them again, but synapse has a problem which changes your in game dpi
